The “Road to Boston” is a challenging one accented by years of training, gallons of sweat and miles of personal challenges. It’s quite the accomplishment just to qualify. When CITGO became the official fuel sponsor of the Boston Marathon, they relied on MDR to create a unique, interactive display to serve as the backdrop of the three-day Event Expo and packet pickup. After being postponed in 2020 due to Covid-19 concerns, our team developed a concept that captured the varied paths of so many runners that included a nod to our frontline medical workers. Because while each participant has their own story of triumph and tribulation, they all eventually lead to Boston.
