CHALLENGE
The new family of freestanding emergencies rooms was a newer concept for the underserved markets. Our client wanted to showcase the elevated level of service and experience they provide, but how do you get people into an ER if they don’t have an emergency? The bottom-line goal was to build brand awareness for Physicians Premier and increase patient foot traffic across multiple South Texas locations.
STRATEGY
The answer? You bring the emergency room to them. By taking advantage of improved virtual reality technology, we created a traveling pod that captured the entire ER experience. This allowed the public to witness firsthand the ER in VR. The next challenge was capitalizing on this in-person experience with media-driven tactics.
EXECUTION
Visual-Heavy Execution: Leveraged 3D VR experience to run video (TV and Facebook Ads) and rich media — extending the experience into geotargeted campaigns across the market and around locations.
Geotargeting: Targeted attendees at local events to push them to the pod. Geofenced competing emergency rooms to let frustrated patients know there was a location nearby with little to no wait times.
Google Ads: Captured high-intent emergencies and brand searches.
Advanced Tracking: Created a primary dashboard with sub dashboards for each location that integrated CRM data and patient numbers, alongside other daily stats to fuel tactics by location.
Call Tracking: Implemented a system that tracked where calls were coming from, and recorded and transcribed actual callers and their feedback for more client and campaign insights.
