On November 6, 2012, former Air Force two-star general Susan Pamerleau became the first female to be elected Sheriff in Bexar County (San Antonio) Texas.  Her historic campaign was managed by Morehead Dotts Rybak, who was responsible for campaign strategy, implementation and creative production.  Pamerleau unseated the incumbent Sheriff with a 52% vote majority.  It was the latest in many political victories for MDR, who has handled more than 200 campaigns since its founding in 1974.
