Art is life—meant to be explored from different angles. The Art Museum of South Texas makes this possible by bringing a new perspective to the lives of our community. Rich in the history of and Mexican and American cultures, the Art Museum is permanent home to some of Texas’ most treasured works of art. MDR used this and architectural cues as inspiration for their website design. We wanted to focus on this merging of cultures, supported by the museum’s well-known asthetics. The sharp angles make the building itself a point of interest—the triangles on top reminiscent of a pyramid—a deeply historic representation of the preservation of life.
